Conserving and Restoring Pacific Salmon Habitats
MVIHES is dedicated to preserving the natural habitats and watersheds that are essential to wild Pacific salmon.
Outreach
MVIHES is dedicated to fostering environmental stewardship and awareness through education programs for communities and families. By offering hands-on learning experiences, workshops, and outreach initiatives, we aim to inspire a greater understanding of our local ecosystems and the vital role they play in our future. Together, we can build a legacy of conservation and sustainability for generations to come.
We attend festivals and events, provide educational materials for local classrooms and youth activities, and host pop-up tent events to raise awareness of the environmental challenges we face in the Kw’a’luwx (Englishman) River watershed.
Citizen Science
We collaborate with many agencies and NGOs to collect vital data on the health of the Kw’a’luwx (Englishman) River watershed, fish, and their habitats.
